Nikolina is a singer, director, actress and theatre teacher. Her expertise includes jazz and opera singing, stage directing and leading theatre groups. Originally from Croatia, Nikolina came to Bern in 2019 to study at the Hochschule der Künste, where she completed a Masters in Performance Opera and a Masters in Expanded Theater. She has directed many productions in both Switzerland and Croatia. She received the University of Zagreb Award in 2018 for her production of Beckett’s “Endgame”. As a theatre educator, she founded a theatre festival for children “The small island Mljet”, which she organizes and produces annually since 2021.
As a theatre director Nikolina explores themes of the subconscious through a combination of the surreal and the grotesque, creating productions that allow the audience to immerse themselves in the inner struggle of the characters in a dynamic, emotional and inspiring way.

Claire discovered her passion for acting playing the role of a grandma in a primary school play. Since then she has been performing in and directing drama projects on and off. She is very excited to be part of her first musical.
Originally from Kenya, Andrew discovered his interest for the stage at primary school and at church – setting him up nicely to play the priest in both of his Upstage appearances (this production and “Trap for a Lonely Man” in 2022).
Sofia is a Swiss-Vietnamese music and movement student from Lucerne. Her big passions are music and linguistics. Apart from playing the piano and the ukulele, dancing, singing and teaching she recently discovered her love for acting and language interpreting.
