We are happy to invite you to a half-day acting workshop at the beginning of September, and are excited to welcome our workshop leader, Nikolina Dominković, who directed our June musical, A New Brain.

About Nikolina Dominković

Nikolina is a singer, director, actress and theatre teacher. Her expertise includes jazz and opera singing, stage directing and leading theatre groups. Originally from Croatia, Nikolina came to Bern in 2019 to study at the Hochschule der Künste Bern (HKB), where she completed a Master’s in Performance Opera and a Master’s in Expanded Theatre. She has directed many productions in both Switzerland and Croatia.

Registration and Cost:
The cost is CHF 50 (40 for students, AHV and unemployed).

Program:

While acting is a complex and lengthy process that cannot be mastered in a single afternoon, our afternoon together will be both fun and enriching. In this short session, I aim to introduce you to some of the essential techniques of acting through engaging and creative drama exercises. We will explore the basics, and I will share some valuable tricks that can help you in your acting journey.

Please bring a very short text, such as a snippet of poetry or a brief monologue (no more than 10 sentences, preferably printed). Also, dress in comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely and feel good.
